For Jay, it all started with curiosity — a fascination with how things work.

 As a kid, he built with K’NEX and Powered LEGOs before moving on to modifying his Packard Bell computer to squeeze out better performance. That early spark of creativity grew into a lifelong interest in technology and how people connect with it.

Jay studied electronics at SCC–Milford in Nebraska, earning an Associate’s degree in Electronic Systems Technology. The program included CCNA training and a strong emphasis on problem-solving — skills that continue to shape his work today. Over time, his focus expanded from understanding circuits and components to helping people feel confident in the technology they rely on every day.

He loves helping others see technology differently — as something that can work for them instead of against them. It’s rewarding for him to watch frustration turn into understanding and see that moment when things finally click into place.

Jay lives in Colorado with his wife and son. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, spending time in nature, and appreciating the world around him.
