For Lucas, it all started in high school with a broken Xbox 360. 

When the infamous “red ring of death” struck, replacement wasn’t an option, so he learned to repair it himself. Before long, he was fixing consoles for classmates and building his first PC on a budget. Those early, hands-on problem-solving moments shaped his instinct for diagnosing issues long before he ever saw them.

Lucas originally planned on becoming a diesel mechanic, but after working in the field, he realized his future was in technology. He shifted into IT and never looked back, earning an AAS in Windows Network Administration, along with CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Project+, AWS Cloud Practitioner, and continuing toward a Bachelor’s in Software Engineering.

At Stepping Forward, Lucas loves the variety that MSP work brings. The chance to learn new systems, solve meaningful problems, and stay sharp in a fast-changing industry. He enjoys helping clients keep their technology stable, secure, and invisible in the best way possible: working so smoothly they don’t have to think about it.

For the team, Lucas focuses on removing friction through automation, custom solutions, and thoughtful problem-solving wherever it’s needed.

Outside of work, he’s finishing his degree, experimenting with new recipes, and catching concerts when he can. His love for cars and motorcycles is still alive , just paused for now.
