For Patrick, it all started with video games and hand-me-down gear.

Growing up, he learned to squeeze every bit of performance out of the equipment he had, fixing and tweaking whatever he needed just to keep playing. Eventually, World of Warcraft pushed him to build his first computer, a project that sparked a lifelong love for technology and problem-solving.

Patrick didn’t begin his career in IT, though. He earned a BS in Human Biology and worked as both an EMT and a Physical Therapist Assistant before transitioning into the tech world. That background taught him how to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and understand the human side of every problem. As he moved into IT, he continued building his expertise, earning CompTIA CySA+, Security+, Network+, and a VMware Certified Technical Associate certification.

At Stepping Forward, Patrick loves the flexibility to try new approaches, refine processes, and create solutions that genuinely help people. His goal is simple: transform technology from a burden into an ally, something that supports clients instead of slowing them down.

Outside of work, Patrick enjoys spending time with his family, running, cycling, and hiking. When he has the time, he loves building new projects in his home-lab and exploring the limits of what technology can do.
