A couple months back, one of our vendors was compromised by a scam and we were sent phishing emails from one of their accounts. An employee clicked the link and their account was compromised, but luckily Stepping Forward had an alert set up. These guys are great at fixing laptops and computers. When the hard drive on my laptop started crashing, they were able to fully recover the data and install a new drive in just a few hours. A year later the hard drive in my desktop crashed and while we couldn’t recover data directly from it, they were able to restore it from an online backup system they had setup for me. Also multiple times when I’ve had hardware issues with my computers, and they’ve either helped me remotely or repaired them quickly in their office. SFT is our hosting service for several critical path web-based systems. We have been a client for several years now, and they take excellent care of us, just as they did from day one (no “honeymoon phase”). I cannot say the same for most other vendors. Their HelpDesk support team is comprised of individuals who are very responsive, friendly, and most importantly, they have extensive knowledge. They are also upfront and honest regarding the limit of their hosting capabilities, so there are no surprises later on. As an IT Director, I highly value vendor relationships like the one that we have built with SFT. Instead of buying hosting space on rackspace or AWS, I strongly recommend at least bidding with SFT. They provide the same quality as AWS, but also go above and beyond to ensure 99.9998% uptime. Bottom line is getting big-box priced service with “Mom ‘n Pop” level care and attentiveness to your needs. – 4/06/2021
