For Miles, it all started with a home computer and a lot of curiosity.

Growing up in a small town where technology was not a big part of everyday life, he was fascinated by his family’s desktop computer. While his friends played video games on consoles, Miles spent an entire summer mowing lawns to save enough money for a graphics card so he could turn his computer into a gaming machine. Installing and configuring that upgrade himself sparked a passion for technology that would shape his future.

As he learned more about computers, Miles began helping friends build and upgrade their own systems. Although he spent his early working years in construction, logging, and wildland firefighting, he eventually realized that IT could be more than a hobby. After earning his A+ certification, he launched his career in technology and has continued expanding his skills and expertise ever since through hands on experience and continuous learning.

At Stepping Forward, Miles enjoys working alongside a talented team that challenges him to grow every day. He thrives on solving new problems, building relationships with clients, and helping businesses overcome technical obstacles. His goal is to make technology easier and more reliable so clients can focus on running successful organizations with confidence.

Outside of work, Miles enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible. Whether he’s hiking, camping, snowboarding, snowmobiling, gardening, or exploring nature, he feels most at home outside. He also enjoys bike rides and walks with his future wife.
